My sister born in a small village in Albania with 100 people at 21/04/1991. At her 3 years old my parents travel in Greece andMaria diagnosed with MPS IV. Last year of her life we were trying to bring the therapy for her in the small island that she was living. After one month we manage it my sister had a pneumonia that caused her a heart attack epeisode. She manages to stay 2 1/2 months in the hospital and be the first person with morquio sydrome had tracheostomy in the whole Greece. She passed away in a morning where all the member of our family hold her hands and her legs.
Maria was a strong woman and a strong child at the same time. In the conservative society of a small island my parents manage to take her to graduate school and graduate theater. She was an amazing actor and had a great talent of describing and telling stories she was reading. Her library counts more than 1000 books she read. She was reading 1 book in 3 days. We were having great time going workshops going walks going to the swimming pool and reading our books. She had her cat by her side Meli that she loved it most. I am not able to describe her full life on one page. But she is our angel forever in our hearts <3
