Gifts that benefit the society after your lifetime.
“I wish I could do more” are words included in many gifts that we receive at the National MPS Society. You can “do more” for the future if you plan ahead. Some of these gifts can be fulfilled after your lifetime.
Bequest a Gift
Leave a Legacy That Supports Families and Research
Donors who support the National MPS Society with an estate plan gift build a foundation for future research, family support, and educational programs. These generous supporters are recognized as members of our Rising Sun Legacy Circle.

Donate a particular piece of property, such as real estate, securities, or other assets.

Life Insurance Gifts
Make a Meaningful Gift with Modest Costs
Life insurance can be an excellent way to create a lasting legacy at a relatively low out-of-pocket cost. The National MPS Society accepts life insurance gifts when we are named as the beneficiary of a policy or when heirs designate a portion of policy proceeds to the Society.
How It Works
You can name the National MPS Society as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy while retaining ownership and control of the policy and access to its cash value. At your passing, the death benefit directed to the Society may qualify as a charitable deduction.
Benefits of a Life Insurance Gift
- Affordable – A significant gift can be made for modest premium payments.
- Certain – The full proceeds are guaranteed to support your philanthropic goals.
- Efficient – Proceeds are paid promptly and are not tied up in estate administration.
- Private – Unlike a will, life insurance gifts are not public record.
- Flexible – You may direct your gift to general support, research, or a specific program that matters most to you.
