MPS Awareness Day is May 15

Each year we celebrate MPS Awareness Day on May 15. On that day we acknowledge and thank those that work tirelessly to research treatments and cures, but also to recognize the families and individuals diagnosed with MPS and ML and the challenges they constantly overcome.

Help us increase the awareness of our amazing community and educate those not involved by sharing your story with as many people as possible. You can do this by sending Jacob Desjarlais, our Communications Director, a few photos or a video that shows what “A Day in Your Life” really is along with short answers to the following questions:

  1. What is your name?
  2. What is your MPS or ML Syndrome?
  3. What is a challenge you face every day that others don’t see?
  4. What are you thankful for?
  5. What would you like the world to know about you?

Our goal is to illustrate to those outside of our community the daily challenges, victories, and realities all of us experience each and every day. We would love all of of our members to get involved so that our message of awareness and understanding can reach further than ever before!
