Leading up to MPS Awareness Day, the National MPS Society is looking for as many families as possible to participate in raising awareness and engagement outside of the community. The average person has around 300 friends/followers on social media. If we had just a few of them share our stories we could easily reach millions of individuals.

To participate we need you to take either a 1 to 3-minute video OR 3-7 photos that illustrate your true “Day-in-the-Life” whether that is going to school, getting an infusion, honoring a lost loved one, or talking to friends online! You can use your phone, a professional camera, or bust out some pencils and draw a few pictures – it doesn’t matter, we just want to see how your day goes so everyone outside of our community can get a basic understanding of what MPS and ML are and what your life is like.

What to Send?

3-7 Photos, any resolution or format.

OR, a 1 to 3-minute video.

What to Film?

Your day! Infusions, doctor visits, going out to lunch, eating breakfast at home, honoring your loved ones, making art, watching a movie, whatever it is you do!

Where to Send It?

Send it to [email protected]. If it’s a video, upload it to YouTube or dropbox or Google Drive, then email Jacob the link. If it’s photos, attach them to the email and send!

What to Write?

  1. What is your name?
  2. What is a challenge you face every day that others don’t see?
  3. What are you thankful for?
  4. What would you like the world to know about you?

Email [email protected] with any questions, or call the office at 919-806-0101.
