The Post Office Cafe 29th Race for MPS (a virtual event)

Run for Fun, Race for a Cause! Please join us for the Post Office Cafe’s 29th Annual SK Run & 1 K Fun Run! In lieu of an in-person event, this year’s run will be virtual! This is the 20th Annual National MPS Society Run/Walk, and PO’s 29th Annual SK & 1 K Fun Run. This event will take place across the nation to raise awareness and funds for the National MPS Society.
Join us on Saturday, October 17 as we honor the spirit of this race with an at-home event. Register to run or walk around your neighborhood, share your time, and take a photo! Although we may not be able to gather together in person, we will still honor Mark and Casey, and make an impact on the future of research for MPS. In 2010, Mark lost his 20 year battle with the disorder MPS IIIA. His sister Casey passed away July 2016 at the age of 24.
The event is in memory of Mark Lessing, Jr. and his sister Casey Lessing. Both have lost their battle to Sanfilippo Syndrome.
