The National MPS Society is excited to announce the “50 States for 50 Years” virtual 5k event, a nationwide celebration marking its 50th anniversary. Participants from across the country are invited to walk or run in honor or memory of someone they love, uniting to support those affected by MPS and ML.

It is just like any other 5K, except there is no official race location. You get to choose where, with whom, and even how you want to complete the 5K. By participating virtually, you can run the 5K at any time between August 3-September 23. It can even be done in increments, keep track of your distance until you hit the 5K.

“50 States for 50 Years” aims to gather participants from all 50 states, creating a map of solidarity and support. The event encourages individuals and families to share their stories and experiences, fostering a sense of community and raising awareness for MPS and ML.
