Ekiylah “Baby E” Davis is our loving, funny, and joyful 2-year-old who adores Ms. Rachel and fills our days with laughter. She was recently diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome Type C, a rare childhood disease often called “childhood Alzheimer’s.” We’re raising funds to support her care and to bring hope for research and a cure.
We first noticed something was different when Baby E’s head seemed larger than usual and her eyebrows grew thick and bushy. Concerned, we took her to get tested, never imagining that those little signs would lead to a diagnosis of something so rare and devastating.
At just 2 years old, our sweet girl Ekiylah “Baby E” Davis has been diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome Type C, often called childhood dementia. It’s a rare and uncurable condition that slowly takes away the abilities children once had — their speech, mobility, and memories.
Despite this, Baby E continues to fill our lives with light. She loves to watch Little Angel, sing along, and dance around the house with joy that is bigger than her diagnosis. Her laughter reminds us every day of the strength and beauty she carries inside her.
We are sharing Baby E’s story to raise awareness and to fight for hope — for her, and for all the children living with Sanfilippo. 💜
