You’ve been hearing and reading about the many companies with FDA-approved treatments for MPS diseases that are in clinical trials, or are moving toward clinical trials in the next 12–24 months. We truly have entered a new and unbelievably exciting era for MPS diseases. Never before have there been so many companies developing treatments, many of which are focused on treating the central nervous system. The Society is committed to providing you with current information, so we arranged for representatives from these companies to be available for an “open house.” This will allow meeting attendees to personally talk with these representatives and hear firsthand about new treatments.
We are pleased to offer scholarships to attend our 29th Annual Family Conference. Scholarships will be awarded to a mother, father or legal guardian of a child with MPS or related disease, or to an adult with MPS or related disease. Scholarships will help enable families and individuals, who are not financially able, to attend the conference. Preference is given to families attending a conference for the first time. The exact number of scholarships offered will be determined by the requests received and the financial needs of the applicant. The application form and explanatory letter must be completed and submitted electronically no later than June 1, 2015. Click here for more details.
