2009 Family Conference- Disney World

To celebrate its 35th anniversary, the National MPS Society hosted its 2009 family conference in Disney World at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, December 17-20, 2009.  Click here for a recap of the Conference.

Family Conference 2008

In lieu of hosting a conference in 2008, the National MPS Society provided stipends for qualified US member families and affected adults to attend the 10th International Symposium on MPS and Related Diseases June 26-29, 2008 in Vancouver Canada.  Read reviews of the sessions.

22nd Annual National MPS Society Family Conference: March 4-6, 2007, Washington, DC

The 22nd annual Family Conference focused on research and federal advocacy, with talks from congressional staffers, NIH and FDA representatives. Dr. Kelley Moremen presented a fascinating overview of lysosomal storage diseases. Families met with their legislators after a brunch on Capitol Hill.
